Now we're talking podcast

Welcome to ITI’s new series of audio shorts, Now we’re talking

We are offering our Student members the chance to find out more about the translation and interpreting industry by talking to other ITI members - both individual and corporate - about a variety of different subjects. It’s a great way for you to network with other people, build your contacts and get your name known in the wider translation and interpreting community.

We would like you to record these short, informal conversations (no more than 10 minutes long) so that we can share them on ITI’s website, social media platforms and in monthly updates.

All you need to do is to email us at [email protected] to let us know you are interested in taking part and if there is a particular subject you would like to find out more about. If there isn't, don’t worry, we have plenty of suggestions for topics!

We will then put you in contact with another ITI member and explain what you need to do to record the conversation. It’s all being done on Zoom, or a similar platform.

We’ve recorded a chat that we recently had with one of ITI’s Language Services members, Susanna, so that you can hear the sort of thing that we are looking for - but this is just a guide and you don’t have to follow this approach.

We hope our Student members will take this opportunity to get involved. Thank you and good luck!
