For some years the UK Government’s intention of digitising self-assessment has been on the cards. From April 2026 this will be a reality and we must all adapt. IDN feels that understanding how to transition from the current system of tax submission, be it on paper, electronic form or via an agent, to a digital system of tax submission may seem daunting for the smaller professional.
For this reason, we have organised a webinar that may help us take next steps with confidence and start getting ready for such mandatory new requirements in order to file our self-assessments properly. With knowledge comes clarity of mind.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our session with Alison Bowyer, Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years' experience working across a wide range of industries and business environments. Throughout her career, Alison has held diverse finance roles, giving her a broad and practical understanding of accounting, financial management, and business operations. This varied background allows her to provide clear, relevant advice tailored to each client's circumstances. She has recently set up her own accounting practice, supporting sole traders and small businesses with their accounting, compliance, and financial decision-making. Her aim is to offer a reliable, approachable service that helps clients focus on growing their business with confidence.

We hope you can join us in welcoming Alison in this session where she will introduce HMRC’s Making Tax Digital to us and will answer our questions.
