Kyle Wohlmut will join us to present an ethical case against the use of GenAI.
In his presentation, Kyle won’t be reiterating the timeworn argument that using AI tools is cheating and humans are better – we can read that every day on all of the popular platforms where language professionals have their say. He will, however, provide his evidence that most GenAI tools are built on unethical, unsustainable foundations and their use causes real-world harm which is not mitigated or outweighed by their results.
