An opportunity for members to find out more about joining the ITI Board of Directors from current Board members.
The translation and interpreting profession is navigating significant change, including the impact of generative AI, evolving client expectations, and shifting market dynamics. ITI needs Board members from diverse backgrounds who can help the Institute respond effectively to these challenges whilst supporting our members.
The nomination process will be starting on 5 December 2025 to fill three upcoming Board vacancies (two voting members and one non-voting member) from 1 May 2026.
If you’re interested in hearing more about the nomination process and the skills, experience and commitment required from Board members, come along to this webinar hosted by Sara Robertson (ITI CEO), Fiona (ITI Chair), Dean Evans (Nominations Committee Chair) and Simona Manca (Board Member).
We will help you to:
· Understand exactly how the nomination and election processes work
· Discover the skills and experience we’re looking for in our next Board members
· Learn about the role and responsibilities of the Board and its members
· Find out what it’s really like to be on the ITI Board
If you’ve been considering standing for election to the ITI Board, this webinar will help you make an informed decision about submitting a nomination. You can bring all your questions about joining the Board and we’ll be happy to answer them.
