Join fellow translators from the West Midlands Region on a day of networking on the water.
The day will include opportunities for hands-on CPD in the form of helmsmanship, ropework and nautical terminology!
Clive Walker, as an experienced narrowboat helmsman, will be steering initially, but other crew members will have an opportunity to take over the tiller later, as they wish.
The cruise will stop off at Market Bosworth, for a visit of the town centre and refreshments. On the return trip, there will be a brief visit the site of The Battle of Bosworth, before returning to Stoke Golding.
There is adequate parking at the boatyard. Please aim to arrive at the boatyard between 09:30 and 09:45 and bring provisions and suitable clothing.
