Having studied interpreting and translating with Russian and German at Heriot-Watt university, my first job was as a Project Manager and checker at Eurotransnet Ltd. in Glasgow, where I worked closely with a number of end customers based in the UK, collaborated with translation agencies based in the DACH region and gained an insight into public service translation.
A few years later I relocated to Edinburgh and started working as an in-house translator at Linguatext Ltd, where I have been a Director and translator since the company became employee owned in September 2017. Through my work at Linguatext, I have gained a great deal of experience in many different areas of technical and marketing translation.
