I grew up in Belgium and trained in Germanic (DE/EN) linguistics, then furthered my studies in translation and speclalised in EU & international institutions. I have been based in the UK for several years now and have worked for an agency as an in-house senior translator, before switching to my current role in tourism and marketing, translating promotional and technical material on a wide range of topics. I also have a passion for Old Norse-Icelandic, a medieval language which I have studied at university in the UK and am always very happy talk about and work with!
