I am a professional translator and proofreader with over a decade of experience and a passion for facilitating communication in the areas of environmental protection, sustainability and agriculture.

My journey as a language professional all began with my studies at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, which equipped me with the extensive knowledge and skills one needs to work at a high level in this field. After graduating with an MA (Hons) in Applied Languages and Translating, I jumped straight in the world of freelancing, where I have remained ever since.

Over my many years of working as a freelance translator and proofreader, I have accumulated a vast wealth of experience in various subject areas including agriculture, business and marketing, logistics and tourism. With sustainability having become such a pressing issue across all sectors, in recent years I have pivoted towards working extensively in the areas of sustainability, conservation, climate change, green logistics and mobility, the energy transition and (sustainable) agriculture in an effort to ensure that my professional activities are aligned with my own values and ethics.

The challenges we face today must be addressed at a global level, and for that to happen, communication is key. I help companies, government agencies, NGOs, charities, and other actors in these fields to bridge the gap between languages and communicate effortlessly with one another in order to bring about effective change.

Whether it is a CSR or sustainability report, a piece of academic writing, a press release or website content, I ensure that your message resonates with your target audience exactly as it was intended to.

I am committed to upholding the highest of standards in my work and hold full membership as a qualified member (MITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting as well as ISO 17100 Qualified status.
