Cathy Waibel will give us a behind-the-scenes tour of how Parliament operates and on her office’s efforts to encourage clearer and more accessible content in 24 languages and in three formats: text, audio and video.

She will discuss how English and French texts are edited to provide both readers and translators with better originals. She will also talk to us about ‘compromise amendments’, an example of when extra diplomacy is required.
