I'm a former registered nurse with over 25 years' experience in medical translations.

I work for clinical research organisations, pharmaceutical companies, language service providers, and direct clients.* Recent projects include the translation of a clinical trial agreement between a hospital and a sponsor; a research article on predicting ICU-acquired weakness among critically ill patients; and an SmPC for an anticonvulsant to treat tonic-clonic seizures. I have a keen interest in medical regulatory affairs and am an advanced certified user of Trados Studio.

In 2024 I translated about 217,000 words from Spanish to English.

I am currently Vice-chair of Mediterranean Editors and Translators Association and have served on the Governing Council since 2016.
