I am a qualified MITI English to French and French to English legal, business and conference interpreter with 16 years of experience, working in both simultaneous and consecutive modes. I specialise in legal meetings, NGOs and HR/works councils. I offer face-to-face interpreting, phone interpreting and online remote interpreting on Zoom, Teams, Kudo and Interactio.

I am a qualified French to English translator with a Master’s in Interpreting and Translating, and over 5.5 million words of translated content. I translate many different types of documents, including contracts and I can also provide certified translations of official documents.
I am an experienced proofreader and reviser from French to English and English to English, and an experience post editor of machine translation.

My IT knowledge is good, having working in the IT sector for six years, and I am a proficient user of Trados Studio, Phrase, Wordbee, Smartcat, XTM and ABBYY FineReader.

I complete over 100 hours of CPD per year, and I am currently working on the Universidade de Vigo/ILSA course on respeaking and live subtitling, which has also allowed me to hone my simultaneous interpreting skills. I also contribute extensively to the profession through my role as ITI Parent and Carer Network Events Officer.

I live in Warrington, Cheshire, within easy reach of Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and Preston. I have a base near Exmouth, Devon, and am therefore also available for assignments in this area.
