Ms Anne de Freyman FITI

30 years' experience as a full-time translator.

My specialist areas are:
- International development and international affairs, with a particular interest in education, women's issues, employment and skills, economic strategy, logging and human rights. As well as NGOs and UN agencies, I have worked extensively with the OECD for over 10 years as an external translator.

- Textile crafts. I am an expert knitter and have co-translated the 350 page Vogue Knitting book. I can also handle crochet and sewing. Get in touch for books, product catalogues and patterns.

- Cultural content. I have experience in translating material relating to WWI and WWII for commemorative events as well as exhibition and tourism material, from mosques to the streets of Stockholm.

I also offer editing of French texts written by non-native French speakers, transcription of French audio/video content and editing of machine-translated content (based on prior assessment of the machine output).
