Ms Anne Freckleton MITI
I provide certified translations of degree certificates, medical documents and doctor's reports with a quick turnround. With mother tongue proficiency in Italian (CILS; C2), I have been working alongside the medical and pharmaceutical communities as a translator, interpreter, and language consultant since 1987 and my years at the Hematology Department and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit, San Martino Hospital, Genoa, Italy. I was Contract Professor in the Department of Drug Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Pavia, and am currently an English Editor for the medical journal "Haematologica". As Managing Editor, I've been involved in the launch of scientific and medical journals, and I have also worked on projects for the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Paediatric Committee (“Task Force in Europe in Drug Development for the Young”; 6th EU Framework) and the European Hematology Association (EHA). With a Master's of Education in Applied Linguistics and a Grade “A” CELTA, I have worked as an English Language teacher and consultant for management and administrative staff at Sanofi Italia (for ALS). I teach English on the undergraduate Modern Languages degree course and on the Master's course of English Language and Translation Studies at the Università degli Studi di Pavia.
