MSc in Organic Chemistry, with more than 15 years of translation experience specialising in pharmaceutical and medical device SOPs and medical reports.

I originally trained as a medical secretary in Germany - and I still retain the skill of deciphering handwritten medical notes! Studying and working in Britain for over 25 years, I have acquired a lot of technical vernacular language that leaves many translators stranded but my source language skills are still so strong that I cope very well with dialects and informal source language, for example from audio transcriptions of patient interviews.
