Translation is about getting the voice right, whether it's a novel, a government report, a company history, a museum exhibition, a theatre review, a training course, a website, an academic article or a knitting pattern.

I translate all these things from Swedish and Finnish, and occasionally Norwegian, and especially appreciate texts where I get to use my degree in European history and my research skills. See my website for more examples of the kind of work I do.
