Literary translator from French: fiction, art, travel, general non-fiction. Author of MATISSE: THE BOOKS (Thames & Hudson/University of Chicago Press, 2020), an acclaimed study of Matisse's livres d'artiste (1933-50). My published translations include 13 novels and over 30 non-fiction titles (art, interiors, travel, lifestyle...). I hold an MA in English literature, literary translation and art history from the University of Cambridge, and an MPhil. in translation and art history from the University of London Institute in Paris.
