Qualified Member MITI – Translator

With a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience, Qualified (MITI) membership is intended for translators who have established careers in translation and are recognised for their expertise as highly skilled professionals.

Entry Requirements

Minimum of three year’s relevant experience as a translator demonstrated through a minimum of 2 professional references from previous /current employers or clients. 

Evidence of a degree, in any subject, or references covering a total of 6 years’ relevant experience.

Completion of the ITI Translation Assessment or Qualification Supported Assessment (QSA)

 

Membership Fees

An application fee of £60 is due when you submit your completed application

Assessment fee: Translation Assessment fee £389 or QSA fee £270

The MITI annual membership fee is £231
